The next step was to develop an additional sales channel by expanding online, and offering the entire product range on the web.
They also required a simple email marketing tool to keep in touch with the existing customer database by offering ongoing promotions, and needed this form of direct marketing to be measureable.
After careful assessment of business and budget requirements, Solutionists and Big Men Clothing decided to run the standard web-store package. This package gave Big Men Clothing everything they needed to run their online business successfully such as easy content management, advanced product search, advanced product information (i.e. enlarged zoom), online voucher redemption, member sign up, web analytics and a secure online hosted payment page. The website administrator is able to add, delete and edit pages, members in the database, products, blogs, images, polls and edit and send email newsletters.
As a result Big Men Clothing have a highly functional and extremely usable website that both influences their customers purchase decisions, and demonstrates what they stand for as a brand.
After the success of the online store, Big Man Clothing and Solutionists are now developing the next phase of their online store, which is integrating with their Point of Sales software Infinity POS. This integration will mean the management of products and stock on the website is automated and orders and customers automatically flow through to Big Man Clothing’s POS system.
